The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has unveiled two new smartphones in the market of India, and the devices are called Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020. Both the devices are coming with similar specifications and it features a quad-camera setup.
Both the new Oppo devices features a 6.5 inch display along with a waterdrop like notch and its features Gorilla Glass protection. The devices are powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 665 processor, the A9 2020 is paired with 4GB and 8GB of RAM, on the other hand, the A5 2020 is paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM. Regarding the storage options, the Oppo A9 2020 supports 128 GB of internal storage and the A5 2020 supports 64GB of internal storage, and both the device supports Micro SD card to expand the storage up to 256 GB.
Moving to the camera department, both the devices rock quad rear camera setup, Oppo A9 2020 has a 48-megapixel main camera, whereas A5 2020 has a 12-megapixel primary shooter. Other three rear cameras are the same in both phones – 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel monochrome shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. Both the devices also support the fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
In terms of connectivity options, the devices support 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, and USB port. The devices run on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1, and backed on 5,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Talking about the pricing and availability, Oppo A9 2020 with 4 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹16,990 while the 8GB RAM variant will have the price tag of ₹19,990, the device will available via Amazon from September 16 and it will also available through the retail stores from September 19. On the other hand, the Oppo A5 2020 with 3 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹12,490 while the 4 GB RAM variant will have the price tag of ₹13,990, the device will available from September 21 via Amazon and retail stores.
