The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S10 series at an event in San Francisco, the Galaxy S10 series is the company’s latest and greatest flagship offerings. Under the Galaxy S10 series, the company has unveiled three smartphones – Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S10E. Samsung Galaxy S10

Let’s start with the Galaxy S10, it sports 6.1 inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 7 mm Octa Core Snapdragon 855 processor and in some region, the device will be available with Samsung Exynos 9820 processor along with 6/8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in 128 GB and 512 GB of storage variants and that can be expandable upto 1.5 TB via MicroSD card.

Moving to the photography department, the Galaxy S10 rocks a triple camera setup. The primary is a 12MP sensor with f1.5 dual aperture lens and dual pixel OIS. The secondary is also a 12MP sensor but with f/2.4 telephoto 2x zoom lens, autofocus, and OIS. Lastly, the third one is 16MP sensor with f/2.2 ultra wide angle (133) lens but with fixed focus. It can record videos up to 4K at 60fps, 1080p at 240fps, and 720p at 960fps. The device will be pre-installed with the Adobe Premiere Rush that will do quick editing the videos before sharing it on social media. On the front, there is a 10MP lens with f/1.9 lens and Dual Pixel PDAF. Moreover, the camera also supports AR Emojis, Stickers, and live focus. The smartphone also features ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which is more secure and active area than the regular in-display fingerprint scanner. It has stereo speakers with Dolby ATMOS sound. The 3.5mm headphone jack still retains it’s place with 32-bit sound support.

Talking about connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, aptX HD, and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and that’s Samsung’s One UI on top, the device ships on a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging support. Along with the wireless charging 2.0, and also features the Wireless Power Share feature which charges other phones wirelessly with S10’s battery.

Speaking about the pricing and availability, pricing will start from $ 899 (₹63,950) and the device will be available for pre-order in the US. The shipping will start from March 8 in US, and there is no information about the availability in other parts of the world.

The high-end variant sports 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, along with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 855 processor and in some region, the device will be available with Samsung Exynos 9820 processor along with 6/8/12 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in 6 GB RAM with 128 GB, 8 GB RAM with 512 GB of storage, and 12 GB RAM with 1 TB onboard storage, and that can be expandable upto 1.5 TB via MicroSD card.

The smartphone features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display, and the device comes in the same processor options, but will be available ices of 6GB and 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device has 128 GB and 512 GB and that can be expandable upto 512 GB via MicroSD card.

The smartphone rocks a dual rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 12-megapixel camera with 77-degree wide-angle lens, 2PD autofocus, a variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4, and OIS; + a 16-megapixel fixed focus camera with a 123-degree ultra-wide lens, and an f/2.2 aperture. The setup is capable of providing 0.5x optical zoom, and up to 8x digital zoom. The front camera is the same as the Galaxy S10’s.
