Measures approximately 13-4/5 by 12 inches. The Piezo ignition has a safety lock and pressure sensor. The controls are user-friendly.
👤I have all electric in my home and purchased this unit to use in it. I used to cook on a gas top stove. The manual stated several times that the unit was not for indoor use, when I received it. I read some of the reviews that said yes when asked if it could be used indoors. I returned it because the box and manual said it was not for indoor use, so I didn't want to take the chance. I rated this unit 5 stars because it is well constructed and I am sure would work as advertised, but I did not want to take the chance because I was not sure about the indoors aspect.
👤I use automatic igniter in the kitchen. My new kitchen does not have gas, so I can't cook with electric. No way! For the first time in my life, I decided to try one of these burners out as an alternative for certain dishes that you just have to have control over temperature for. I love it. I had a plan to purchase two, but the first one didn't go as planned. I have a sort of gas stove top area now that I have a large work table that is big enough to hold both of them. Work around the solution. You can swap out the green propane tanks with the alternative hose for the green ones if you want to use the fuel type. I'm assuming that you would want to do that because they burn much longer than the cans that fit inside. I'll consider doing that in the future if it becomes an issue, but so far I've gotten a couple hours and 7 to 10 meal sessions out of each little can. It only took me a second to swap out when I ran out of pasta the other day, no big deal at all. The gas refill cans are on a recurring order. Highly recommend this! They come with a case to hold them if they are put away.
👤I love this stove. It has a plastic carrying case that is perfect for it. You just need to buy small butane gas cans. I used theColeman's brand and it worked. It was very easy to put together. It is very easy to take apart and put away. When you turn the nob all the way to the left, you will hear a click and the fire will start up pretty wide, so make sure there is nothing easy to catch fire next to it. I think it's a great idea. I wish it came with a grill rack that could be used for hamburgers or hot dogs. But still a great stove!
👤We waited for the kitchen island to be built that would accept a drop-in cook top before I bought this. I tried an electric and a double burner electric. Not enough power from them. I tried this one. Perfect! We've used it many times a day. Yes, inside. This is a big deal. I had no issues with starter or burner connection. I buy butane bottles at the best price on Amazon, which is about $2/wk. In butane. Would I buy again? Absolutely! I am still waiting for that island. The double burner is something I'm considering. I have double wall ovens.

👤The stove is nice. The feature is great. It's useful for making bagels, toast, pop tarts and waffles. You can cook with a 3rd burner.
👤More versatile than popular models, but no wind flaps. foil needs to be put for Cleanup, but need to make a shield when winds are strong.

👤We thought the igniter didn't work, probably because of the reviews. We didn't know what a Piezo igniter was or how to operate it, so we had an issue. The way the Piezo igniter works is that you have to turn the burner knob all the way until it starts. To start a flame, turn the burner knob all the way until you hear a loud click of the igniter. Let the fire go.
👤The igniter works, but not well. I use it for my Korean bbq adventures. Gets plenty hot to get a nice seat and color the meat without boiling it. This thing is very strong and cooks very well. My can of butane has been used four times so far. A good carrying case keeps it safe when not in use. The igniter didn't work. I use a candle lighter that doesn't catch my hand on fire. No spark, no click. It would be a five star product if it wasn't for that. Not having the starter makes it a three star product.
👤Great all around burner. You can use this inside the kitchen, but I have an extra burner there. My stove only has two burners on the glass top range, and with a larger gumbo pot on one, it takes a very long time to heat up. The pot of water can be boiled 4X faster than the glass range. The flame can be left unattended at a family dinner for an hour or two while it warms up. The first canister of fuel gave me 3 cooking sessions. The heat was high for about 4 hours. If you need something super hot, the canister won't put out enough flame once it gets below 20% fuel. Once it gets that low, it will keep cooking for an extra 30 min. The downdraft system in my kitchen does affect the flame, but it is not enough to be a concern. The pot can be moved a few inches either way.
👤If you are going to be travelling, I would not recommend this stove since you may have the same problem I had with the gas lighter in the box. I am an electrical engineer so my comment would be not worth the money. These types of items need to work under all conditions and this is not the one you buy. There are other brands that can help you. Give one star.
👤While waiting for their back ordered item, I came across this and decided to give it a try. The little guy has a serious flame. My wok is 14 in and it is heating up in seconds. I stopped using my electric stove because it works better with this. If you want to buy butane at an Asian market, it will cost you $4 for 4 canisters. This is a must have if you cook stir fry frequently. I returned the Electric wok to William Sonoma and saved $90.
👤Around 1 1/2 times, I put out more heat than any butane stove. If you are camping, the grate helps keep the heat on. I've had a few butane stove, from no name ones from Asian stores to branch one from Costco. I am happy that I found this. I wish the top was made of steel, like the one I got from the store.
Product dimensions are 12.2 inch L x 20inch. The cutout is 18.7 inches wide and 7.8 inches deep. Steel and Enamel coated steel are used for strength and stability. The legs are made of aluminum. The outlet is designed to be resistant to the wind for better cooking power. Magnetic locking of fuel cans prevents any leak of fuel and is a good way to keep fuel out of the air. If unsafe heat levels are detected, the fuel can be disconnected. Design stops the flow of fuel. The double wind shield unit protects the flame in two areas. The design lets the air in. The heat panel system. As fuel is used, the panel maintains constant pressure. The output of the entire fuel canister is the result, leaving no residual fuel, assuring greater economy and safety. 👤It was purchased for use during the storm. Amazon doesn't carry the Chef Master butane, only Gas One, which is not compatible, so this stove couldn't be used. The cost of shipping fuel is much higher than the cost of the stove. I already have their butane canisters so I ordered a Gas One model. I can't use the Chef Master because the window for return expired. I want to be able to brew my Earl Grey tea as we are expecting another storm.
👤When I received this stove, I didn't receive the order of butane that went with it, so I wasn't able to test it. I found a can of butane and tested it. The stove wouldn't light after I followed the instructions. I tried many times but it didn't light up. I am out that money and disappointed because I am past my window to return this stove. Please test this stove immediately if you purchase it. The butane canister should be on hand.
👤As a semi-pro chef, I know that cooking with natural gas is the way to go. I have missed some dishes because I live in a place that only has electricity. You get instant heat from using gas. The unit cooks fast and though one might think butane would be used up quickly, it really is not if one observes their flame with care. Any more fuel used is superfluous since a flame of what I would consider high is achieved. Blackening of meats requires a hot skillet. This unit gives time. I was able to gauge my butane use, as I only use electric occasionally for special dinners, and only use one can of butane. The butane canisters can be purchased at a relatively low price. The flame adjustment has a hairtrigger. It is difficult to get a low flame. The adjustment is not as artistic as a gas stove. A great investment. I love being able to cook with that heat.
👤The box was crushed at the bottom not packed at all and one single tape along the box top--opened up item, butane cannister, no ignition clicks at all, and the smell of the box was overpowering. There is a crap item. Don't worry, the US made woo hoo. I have an iwantani for many years. Not one. Any day, Japanese made a USA product. The item is crap.
👤The unit is very lightweight and can quickly heat up tea/ coffee water and soup. Exceeded expectations.
👤I like this small stove. It doesn't take up much space. The electronic starter didn't work so I was disappointed that you used butane instead of propane. I slide it with a torch. Didn't have time to send it back.
👤We can still cook our meals when the electrical companies shut off the electrical at our house.
👤There is a lot of power. I had to change it to 1/2. This was a cast iron skillet. I am glad I bought it. Time will tell if it holds up.
The Thin type body is lightweight. The adopted vertical burner suppressed fuel. It is easy to body clean because of the high performance fluorine coat. Burning time is 70 minutes. There is power.
👤The manual is not English. I can't read warnings.
👤I wish I had tried it right away. The design is pretty, but the first time I use it, the fire is so strong that it burns the side of the house, and the sound is really high. I don't know if my shipment was wrong or not. I want to return it, but I have to wait.
👤This is the new portable butane stove that I bought. It made a big difference in gas usage. The flame ran to the last drop when I adjusted it to low. I didn't have a lot of control. The flame wont come up even though I still have 1/2 butane left. It's easy to use and clean. Iwatani made a great product. I will buy another one for camping. Awesome purchase.
👤I was surprised this one didn't have the case. It's not ideal to be portable.
👤This brand is recommended to me by my friend. The fire is easy to install and stable, but it doesn't come with a portable case to carry if you campaign, you need to keep the paper box with you.
👤I love how portable it is. Can't wait to use it.
👤I have 3 of this style. When the power was out, we used to have family dinner BBQ nights. The ease of use is what I love about it. The fuel cannisters cost $1 each and last for a few meals. I use it to make ramen for two at the table. It is easy to set up and clean. I highly recommend.
👤I didn't feel safe using it because it wouldn't stay together.
👤The kit is stylish and works well. The instructions are all in Japanese, with no English. It's not hard to figure out how to use it. It is recommended.
👤31, No1 OK
👤I love it! It's easy to use money.
👤Kocher dieser Bauart in Verwendung. Chinavarianten ist beim ok. Am schlechtesten waren die Markenkocher von Campingaz. The Heizleistung war besser, aber die Blech und der Lack war. Is richtig edel. Die Heizleistung ist viel. Top in Kombination is Wokring aus Chinamann. Ihn gerne Zuhause. Leider ist die Koffer. Also, den Karton ist bei der Seite ffnen. Euro is the guter Kauf.
When the temperature is 20 25 C, the measured value of the unexpired portion of the cassette gas one at high heat continuous combustion takes about 217 minutes to burn. The Iwatani butane stove is the perfect portable stove for camping, indoor/outdoor commercial use, and emergency situations. Their portable stove top camp stove has a high heat output that can quickly boil water and cook food. The portable burner uses the entire butane can to maximize heat output and leaves no residual fuel. The portable gas stove has an easy to use non-stick coated pan and a carrying case for added convenience. The portable butane stove has an automatic shut-off function and a magnetic safety lock mechanism.
👤The Ecopremium EPR-1 is a very similar stove to this one. This stove is an export product designed for The Americas. This stove does not have the same build quality as the EPR-1, which I have used for many years. I received a used item. The outer box was taped back together, the case was cracked, and the stove inside had signs of use. The Japanese domestic version of the knob was not easy to turn. The canister door has alatch that is redundant. I returned the product.
👤The product is well made in Japan and looks smart. There is a The unit really puts out the heat, so be aware of how high you turn the burner or how much you cook. Butane is hotter than lp gas. The Korean made butane is the same safety factor as the stove manufacturer's.
👤I picked this up in the event of a power failure. I set it up after it came in. It is easy to set up, works instantly, has a low burner seating, is easy to control, and looks nice on the kitchen counter. I expected it to be a little heavier, but it is light weight. Lighter weight would be a plus for anyone taking it on a road trip. I am happy with the purchase. Would purchase again. If the power goes down, I will be able to cook and boil water, but it will be difficult to store, so I will just sit out on the counter.
👤I like the old Iwatani unit, but it's difficult to clean. This one is easy to clean. I'm not sure how well the canister is seated because it uses a magnetic system. The lever used by the old Iwatani makes me feel confident that the canister is securely seated. I like the unit better for it's looks and the ease of cleaning it. I am not sure about the magnetic hold down system. I think it came loose a couple of times because it was bumped too hard.
👤I'm very happy with my purchase. This stove is made of high quality materials. It comes with a carrying case and was surprised to see that.
👤I was a little hesitant to connect the butane can to the stove because I had never cooked with it, but after gathering my courage, I turned it on and it has been smooth cooking ever since! I lived without it before I knew, but it is so easy to use.
👤It is easy to use and the flame is huge. The food never seemed to cook while I was using a portable electric burner. Especially dal and lentils. Quality product all the way around.
👤The stove looks sleek and modern compared to the regular butane stove on the market. I like to deep fry fish outside. The non stick pan makes it easy to wipe up the oil. The burner head is not in the center, which makes it possible for a larger pan to be used. I am very happy with my purchase.
The controls are user-friendly. This portable butane stove is perfect for off-site cooking. The carrying case is for indoor use. The Piezo Electronic Ignition has a safety stop. 10,000 BTU. The stove has a high heat output of 10,000 BTUs and a heat range that can be adjusted. The Piezo ignition is a group of people. The butane countertop stove has an electronic ignition system which means no more fumbling with matches. There is a safety stop. The range has a safety stop which will shut down the stove if it senses overheating. BRASS BURNER: The brass burner on the butane stove holds heat well and resists warping. Double Wind Guard reduces the loss of heat from Breeze or A/C. To cook the heat range. Only Butane marked BF1010 can be used.
👤I attended a cooking class and bought this. I need to use gas for the wok in my electric stove. The staff told me how they use the stove. I can still cook a good meal, even if we lose power, because I use it for my wok and as an extra burner.
👤I love this stove. This is to recreate a hot pot experience. The stove provides great control over the flame from a barely a flicker of a flame through a raging fire that heats things up quickly. We put this in the center of the kitchen table as a communal hot pot stove because it is so portable. The butane canister has enough energy to last for three hot pot meals. We have had two so far. Both experiences were great. It is very easy to clean up. Anything that gets spatter and drips can be removed from the stove and washed under the kitchen faucet. Can't wait to take it on the road. This is a great keeper.
👤I needed a stove inside my house. I read the review and people asked me that very question... Yes. Presta MANUFACTURER on September 5, 2017: I'm afraid to use it because of the instructions inside. What is it now? Purchase regret? I will probably come back.
👤The stove has an ample cooking surface for a pan. The heat is evenly distributed. It is easy to clean. The magnito feature doesn't light the burner after the first use. I have been using a manual lighter which is not a big deal, but it does not work with a magnito feature. I anticipated that it wouldn't work since I saw other reviewers complaining about it. If this is important to you, just know this before you order.
👤The portable stove is really good. The burner control is amazing and it uses every last drop of the canister, without losing it's power. It's great for the outdoors. It comes with a wind protection that works well.
👤I don't know how much I love this burner. I use it to cook on the patio. The smell of grease is kept out of the house. It's easy to clean and store in the case. If you miss your gas stove, it's great. I use it a few times a week. It would be great for camping.
👤This small burner is powerful. My family was without power for three days. We had a lot of hot water for washing. It is portable and easy to operate. Great for camping or grilling.
👤I bought 2 Burners in July of last year for use at upcoming events. I was only able to get one burner to work at the party. The supply line of the burner seems to have some issues.
👤It was perfect when the power went out. It is very easy to use.
The manufacturer of household cooktops is called HB HOB. The stove and hobs are stable and energy efficient. The main burner will last a long time. The surface of the burner is decent. Excellent cleaning- The surface is made of 304 STAINLESS STEEL and has a good resistance to rust and is easy to clean. Food can fall into the sealed burners if they are not cleaned. It's perfect for RV, apartments, outdoor use, and is designed to perform as well as it looks. The dual fuel gas hob is designed for natural gas and liquid propane. There is a conversion kit for propane and natural gas. The electric pulse is powered by an AC power. The electric ignition and 2 different gas supply options will make life easier. Heavy cast iron pot stand with TEMPERED GLASS SURFACE. The electric ignition has an AC input. The flame out failure detection device has a thermal couple. The gas supply was shut off. Product dimensions are 12.2 inch L x 20inch. The cutout is 18.7 inches wide and 7.8 inches deep.
👤The propane jets seemed to have perfect flames without even adjusting the flow. The small screw driver is included with the instructions. Instructions are well written. The instructions don't give you the required spacing behind the stove top. The material surrounding the stove should be able to handle 200 degrees. The large burner at the back of the stove only has 4.5" from the center to the back of the stove. The back splash of the counter will most likely be burned by the rear burner if the counter is only 21 or 22 inches deep. I don't think I would use this with the large burner at the rear as they picture it in the manual. The stove should be parallel to the counter with the knobs on one side. The cast iron grill is designed to support pan sizes. I put the stove with the large burner at the front because of the space limitations. Not great, but usable. Also, for now. The same seller sells the same version for less on Amazon. The unit has a male flare straight fitting and an angle fitting for a rubber hose. I'm not sure where you'd use the angle rubber hose fitting. The stove has an optional 4 feet that can be used as a free standing stove. There is a The male flare fitting has points towards the stove end and the knob end. There is not enough room for most counter depths to attach a flexible metal hose. You will most likely want a female flare elbow for permanent installation. I could only find male and female flare Elbow fittings. I ended up with one of those plus one flare to 1/2 male flare straight fitting to fit my existing flexible metal hose connection...
👤I thought I could use it as a stand-alone stove. It's not designed for that. It's meant to be installed as a cook top. There was no complaint about the maker or seller. I discovered that it is a non-returnable item. I can't return it for a refund, so I have to either sell it or donate it. Unless you know what you want to use it for, don't buy it.
👤Garbage! The burner will not stay lit. The igniter only ignites in the back burner. I cut my cabinet to fit this trash heap so I wouldn't get my money back. There is no simple warranty process. Run from this scam!
👤I needed a safe stove for my cabin. The unit fits the bill nicely. It can be mounted into a top surface or sitting on top. The unit has attachable feet. This unit is of the highest quality. It was worth every penny.
👤It caught on fire. I returned it. You received it. You tried to send me another one, but I wanted my money back. I don't want it. I'm out of money and the stove.
👤The product did not include a way to secure it to the counter. There were no side mounting brackets or hold-down brackets included in the instructions, and there were no screws on the side of the burner box. I can't just rest it on a surface for my application, so I have four rubber feet. The instructions mention RV as an application. Would not purchase again. I had trouble keeping the stove lit after hooking it up for testing, but luckily I cut the hole in my counter. I figured I could mount it in a way that I could use, but I don't want to spend more time on this product.
Despite its Rugged Powder-Coated Steel Construction, the unit weighs under 10 pounds and breaks down to the size of a Slim 18”x13”x. The body size is about 84mm tall and has a weight of about 1.2 kilogram. The Purekotofutsu steel sheet is heat resistant and the instrument lines are heat resistant. When the temperature is 20 25 C, the measured values of up to max out the cassette bomb are about 70 minutes.
👤I have not had a problem being all in Japanese. I was able to figure it out. It works well and is easy to use. I bought a second one for myself. Shipping was fast. I have had it for four months and no issues.
👤Love it... but it's pricey. The instructions are not in English. Push the gas canister into the slot in order to light it.
👤It works perfectly. A storage box would have been nice, but not having one isn't a big deal, the stove isn't meant for outside use, and the lack of wind block rail isn't a problem.
👤I purchased gold the first time. This one works well as well. The red color is nice. It's perfect for Takoyaki, Nabe, or Yakiniku parties. It reminds me of when I lived in Japan.
👤Cooks very fast and can be found anywhere. If you don't speak Japanese, you have to download the instructions in English.
👤The rating is based on the fact that there were no instructions in English. Everything is written in Japanese. Considering coming back.
👤It is easy to clean. I was surprised by the weight of the Iwatani Burner. The slim design is easy to clean and it makes it easier for guests to access the hotpot. I was happy that the burner could hold my Le Creuset braiser without issues. I am happy with this purchase.
👤Since I bought this stove, I have been using it almost daily and I just love it. The cheap fuel canisters make for a great emergency stove or camping stove.
👤I will never use an electric stove for anything other than boiling now. I use my iwatani gas stove to cook. The iwatani butane stove is a must have if you don't have a gas stove. The only way to cook non-stick food is cast iron.
👤I'm glad I bought this. I was able to cook a great breakfast and keep us warm when we had no electricity for a day because of this little device. It works great. The flame is shaped by the burner to fit the pan size. It was very well made. It was made in Japan.
The package includes a storage carry bag. Up to 20,000 total BTUs of drilling power. There are three adjusted burning shears. For more precise temperature control, with improved burner technology. There is a large drilling area. inches. It's easy to set up. Sturdy quick-fold legs. The temperature is measured. Integrated design for accurate temperature monitoring. There is a push-button initiative. The lighting is matchless. Fuel is 1 16.4 ounces. The propane cylinder is sold separately. There is a 3-year limited warranty.
👤It folds up, grills your food, and has slide out trays. It's a win. There is a It's not a replacement for a proper grill at home. We thought a portable grill would be a better idea than leaving a regular grill out in the common area because we live in an apartment. We would travel with it. The grill fit the bill. I think it's the best solution available. It does what it says. There are pros and cons. The water tray is long and shallow. The grill needs to be perfectly level to fill the water tray and not spill from the lower end. Good luck taking out the water tray to empty it, because it will spill greasy water all over you and everything else. Two men can carry the grill up the apartment stairs. After the grill cools, you have to fold it and let it dry. If you know to plan for it, it's not a big deal. The risk of cross threading and ruining the grill is caused by the risk of screwing the gas bottle on and off. - The lid is being held shut by a joke. I use a luggage strap after the grill has cooled.
👤I love the grill. It is a little more difficult to clean with a water pan. I found a way to dump the water by grabbing the pan along the long edges and putting your arms in a garbage bag. After that, wipe it clean.
👤I would give this product zero stars. The pull-out table's handles shattered on the first use. Coleman doesn't provide replacement parts. The cover lock is adequate. The cast iron grills and water tray will fall out when the cover lock is open. I am lucky that my grills did not break. I use a strap when rolling the stove. It's ridiculous for a grill to cost so much.
👤I called Coleman and they said that Amazon must have sent me a used one, but I sanded it off and painted it, I'm sure that's not the case.
👤The grill looked sturdy when I first saw it. It's for camping at the end of the day so you expect it to be that way. After grilling 5 or 6 times, the right handle fell off completely. You need the handles to bring the grill down. They used rivet instead of screws. The handle takes almost half of the table. It's something you can live with, but it could have been better.
👤The grill is nice. The bag is not big. We went ahead and night the extra grill plates so we could use it multiple times. I would recommend them. We ran out of propane yesterday. This worked great after we pulled it out. The side handle fell off after I pulled it out again. We've never used it much and have always been very careful. I'm not sure how we'll fix it because they are grommeted on.
👤It's acceptable for an occasional tailgate grille to be more of a convenience grille. After a couple greasy burgers or sausage, the water ring becomes a mess. The construction is adequate but the latch for the lid needs to be re- engineered. The new burner design does not use as much heat as it could. There is a storage spot for the propane bottle. This grille is the only one that doesn't replace a decent portable charcoal grille.
