Brand: Hemingweigh

👤. What size will you receive? I bought one a month ago and liked the quality but it was too thin for use on hardwood floors. I decided to buy a second to cover it. The first one was promised to be extra thick, and it just arrived.

👤I have been looking for a good exercise mat. I've been using it for a while. I don't like it. The HemingWeigh is superior. The HemingWeigh exercise mat is thicker than the BalanceFrom mat, which is supposedly "extra thick high density". I did my forward lunge stretches on both mats and you can see in the picture that the BalanceFrom mat leaves a huge dent where my knee was. You can't tell I was on the mat. It was a relief to not feel the wood ground as I stretched. Save yourself the hassle of looking elsewhere because this is one of the best exercise mats I have ever used at this price. A good mat is important for me because I stretch for about an hour every day. I used to have to fold the BalanceFrom yoga mat to get enough cushion, but now I don't. I could not stop talking about this mat. It's very light and compact despite being much thicker. It's very portable with the provided straps. If you're looking for an exercise mat, this is the one for you. A picture of my boyfriend on the HemingWeigh. It's better than my old mat, but he wouldn't sleep on it by choice. Praise.

👤This is a thick mat that is good for people who need protection while exercising. It's a must for me because of some spine problems. You can end your routine with a nap as well. It's very comfortable. The off-gasing that I had to deal with on arrival is the reason for the missing star. I had to get the smell out of the house. I put it in the garage and stretched it out. It smelled like my visits to the local Discount Tires when I walked in the garage. I tried to mask it by burning incense, but it didn't work. If you are patient, you will like this mat. It is a good value for the comfort. It will take a while for the smell to go away.

👤Stay away from this junk! I thought this would be a great mat for my workouts, but after using it for a few days, the smell made me sick. This is made out of a toxic chemical called polyvinylchloride. The mat is loaded with a chemical called phthalates, which can cause health problems. Invest in an eco friendly option for your health.

👤I bought this mat for yoga and for therapy after reading all the positive reviews. The smell was overpowering when it arrived. I thought it would end with time. Nope. I have used this mat twice since buying it in November of last year. The first time I used it, my clothes smelled so bad that I had to change them hours later. I put a towel down the first time I used the mat. The smell was so bad that I couldn't concentrate or finish my therapy. The smell is just as bad six months after owning the mat. There is a It is on the less expensive side, but I would suggest putting that money towards a better mat. I will have to throw this mat away and the money I invested.

Brand: Jadeyoga

👤I am a Jade fan. This is the third mat by Jade. I bought the other two in person several years ago, and they hold up well with heavy use. I bought a travel mat for my trip. Needed something that was foldable. I had a thick Manduka about 10 years ago, but never liked it. The Jade is similar to Manduka in price and I like it. The mat will fit in my backpack. It is slightly shorter than my home mat. I am 5 years old. I have a lot of room. There are pictures of height, width, and foldup size. The olive green is beautiful and true to color.

👤There was a conflict about this mat. I am a yoga newb on a budget and bought it for two reasons: I wanted something I could fold up and throw in my gym bag and I didn't want to buy something made out of toxic non-recyclable plastic. It checks the other two boxes. It is as thin as a paper towel and stretchy. It would destroy my knees and butt bone if I used it in a group setting. The stretch makes it hard to find stability in poses. I can get use out of it on top of my rug and a folded blanket at home. This is the kind of mat that only a masochist will enjoy. The smell doesn't bother me. A mild rubber smell. The Manduka eKo is a possibility. It's really sad.

👤I ran an online yoga studio and gave away a travel mat. It was a hit with the yogis. The girl was gifted it and she absolutely loves it. I have to feel the mat when I drop it off. I have had mats like Manduka. I want to buy this mat for myself because I like it so much. It has a texture to it that makes it hard to slip if your mat is sweaty. If it is hot and sweaty, my conjugate will slip a tiny bit. My lifeforme was lips. I don't think this is a mat that would make you slip. I will be back for more.

👤I wanted a thin mat for handstands and arm balances. It's easier to balance on a flat surface than on a mat. The mat is very thin and I love it. I would have gotten a 3mm instead. It still serves its purpose. It is a little ruff on the elbow if I am doing forearm stands. Other than that great quality, no slip! I wouldn't use this for yoga practice. It is very thin. I think it would hurt my back and knees. It's great for arm balances.

👤Light weight and foldable make this mat very convenient to pack. The grip on the floor is very firm and it doesn't budge under the weight. It has provided excellent grip in humid and tropical weather. It is extremely thin and there is no bounce, which is the only downside to being so light weight. When I am doing knee intensive poses, I use an extra folded blanket on top. I was very happy with this purchase.

Brand: Avoalre

👤I used this mat for a few days during my hotel stays, it was easy to fold and put away, perfect for morning yoga and light strength training. The mat is light and works well in my carry on suit case. Nice color too. I had a chemical smell when I first opened the door. It is almost gone. I like it so far.

👤I was looking for a second mat to use outside. This one is very close to being perfect. It has a nice amount of cushion without being too bulky, folds easily, and has a draw string bag for storage. I like the color and look of it. After a few uses it is already breaking down. I know the mat won't hold up. I plan to use it on a trip. Don't plan on this being an everyday use mat.

👤I like that this mat folds up, it's easier to carry around than a rolled up mat. During my first workout, a chunk of mat tore off, and it has been losing small chunks during every workout. I use the mat to lay on when I do sit-ups. If it keeps losing pieces, I don't know how long it will last.

👤I have used this mat outdoors at home. I do yoga every day. I have a thick mat in my home gym that is too heavy to travel. It folds into a suitcase or backpack. It is not a super compact but it is worth the space it takes and provides a good level of cushion. The green color did not have an unpleasant odor. I have used it on tile, carpet, and my deck. It can get slippery if you have sunscreen on your hands and feet. The dust on the mat helped with traction after I flipped it over. Sand shook off nicely after wipes were wiped clean. Would buy again.

👤He was more than expected. The mat was good, but not a traveling mat that I had expected.

👤The yoga mat makes it easy to move around my gym. The thickness is perfect. Refolding takes seconds, but folds are really convenient. I use it as a hip thrusts pad. Then under my knees for exercise. It is great! If you are wider at the shoulders and hips, it is not as narrow as I was personally uncomfortable with. I would pair it with a yoga mat towel.

👤I was looking for a double stack mat because my current mat is very thin. I like the carrying bag. It won't be an issue when I pack it in my suitcase because it looks heavier when folded. They love their color choices.

👤I bought the foldable yoga mat because I wanted a lighter mat that I could use on the go. The mat is foldable, but it is on a heavier side. I returned it. I don't think a heavy foldable mat would be good for yoga or exercise.

👤The yoga mat is easy to pack and it is comfortable. It's a good bag for travelling. It is very easy to wash using water and soap. The material is easy to maintain. Comes in a bag. Definitely worth it!

4. Manduka Acai EKO Yoga Mat

The product is 71" x 24" Manduka All-Purpose MatWash is a great way to keep your mat in top shape. It's specially formulated to clean your mat without damaging it. The color is a Acai.

Brand: Manduka

👤I tried many before finding the perfect mat. I didn't want to pay for it. The mats were too thick, cheap, stinky, and slippery. I finally bought this after I sucked it up. I understood from the moment I unwrapped it. The mat is durable and thin for travel purposes. It is incredibly so. It can be folded or rolled. It can be wiped. Not sticky with proper care. It's not a toxic smell. It feels very grounded to flow on, unlike the other foldables. It's folded in my bag. I roll it at home. The creases don't last long when it unfolds. The color blends in with the surroundings. The mat is thin. Any thick ones are a kilo heavier. I place a towel or blanket at my knees for lunges during my practice. It's not a problem because of this. Without padding it would be hard for me. If the Navy were in stock, I would have bought it.

👤I have had this mat for two weeks and today I decided it was time to review it. I was expecting a better product from Manduka. Everything I wanted was on the mat. The SMELL is out of this world and so distracts me. I feel like I'm dying when I put my face close to the mat. The tire smell is disgusting. I was really disappointed with my purchase.

👤I bought this mat so that I can practice wherever I go. If the smell of the mat is what you have to worry about during a yoga session, then you are blessed. Loud sounds, people, and small spaces are some of the things that distract me. Live your life. The mat is foldable and can fit in most carry-ons. You can unfold it and it can be rolled up to eliminate any creases. It does it easily. It is a stickier mat than my other one and I can do everything on it. It works best on hard floors. The grip on towels and carpeting doesn't work. I used it on a carpet and it kept sliding, so I moved to a brick floor. This is not the mat that you need. This is very thin. Which is what makes me like it. After a few uses of the mat, I didn't notice the sensitivity in my knees.

👤I have taken this mat with me on two trips and I have been pleasantly surprised by the packability and stickiness of the mat. It is not very comfortable for the knees when it is on a hardwood floor. It can move around on a carpet. It is easier on the joints. The closed-cell mat made me feel better about re packing the mat after I put it on my hotel room floor. If you want to practice yoga while traveling, this is the mat for you.

👤The product is thin and foldable, which is fantastic. It was slippery, that's the main problem I had with it. I was sliding on the mat while I was sweaty. It was difficult to have traction in a downward dog. I proved that it can easily be damaged by taking poor care of it because it faded by the sun and was scratched by dog claws. The scent of natural rubber lingered for me. I didn't mind the scent in itself, but I felt like it would be on me after lying on the mat. I always had to shower after using it.

5. Natural Fitness Folding Non Slip Traction

Excellent traction. It is easier to pack and carry yoga mats. Bag made of recycled bottles protects mat. Made of eco-friendly Polymer Environmental Resin (PER), it's free of harmful chemicals and heavy metals that irritate skin. It is easy to care for and maintain for everyday and class use.

Brand: Natural Fitness

👤It was difficult to find a yoga mat that would fit in my carry-on because of the reviews that said the mats were too thin or slippery. This one is great. I have a new carry-on suitcase with room to spare and I attached photos to illustrate it. It's a bit smaller than the 12x12 inches advertised and the folded depth is about 2 inches. The mats are about 3-4mm thick. It opens and folds easily. When I opened it, there was a plastic smell, but it disappeared with airing and didn't come back. I've used it at home twice and it works, but I think I'll want padding on the floor. I like having the fold lines. The carrying bag is perfect for my needs.

👤I purchased this one because I read every possible note on the mats. I bought for an intense yoga retreat with a yoga girl in aruba, 2 practices a day approximately 2 hours per practice. The mat fit perfectly in my carry on suitcase and I still had room for yoga clothes for a week. There was a minimal smell. It folds easily and keeps the used side clean. I could still grip for balance poses even with 3-4mm of thickness, it was enough to add some cushion for bad knees. The color is orangey pink with a nice design. I like the lines for posing. Quality has been good, I am still using it for my primary mat now that I'm home again. It's a little softer than the mats, so if you cut it you can get hurt, but I haven't had any problems thus far. I'm very happy with my purchase.

👤I needed a yoga mat to take with me on trips, and this one is really good. It's easy to fold back up, and the floor side folds to the middle, so you don't get floor gunk on the clean side of the mat. It's easy to get out of the carrying case. It's still pretty good, even though the thickness is not as good as a non-travel mat. I have used this on hard flooring and it's pretty decent, even though I'm used to practicing on carpet. I haven't used it all that much yet, but it seems durable. It's small enough to fit in a roll-aboard, but it takes up a lot of space. That teaches you to travel lighter, right? It smells like a new mat for a while, but you just have to leave it out for a while, and that goes away pretty quickly. It's a word that means "namaste."

👤I initially gave this mat four stars, but I'm changing my review. I like the look and feel of this mat. It's very soft. I lose more of it every time I use it. I keep my toenails short, but they still don't let me remove bits of rubber. After only 6 months of twice-weekly use, you can see some of the damage in the photo. I've been practicing yoga for 16 years and my cheap mat shows no wear. I have two Natural Fitness yoga balls which I love, so I'm disappointed in the lack ofDurability here. I'm shopping for a new mat that my kids will love.

If you want to get the best grip, wet your hands or put water on your mat. Sweat can help you adhere to your mat. The yoga design lab mats have a carrying strap.

Brand: Yoga Design Lab

👤I'm giving Yoga Design Lab 5 stars for their customer service. The mat I bought was not a match for me. I had trouble getting into my poses even after spraying it with water because it was slippery. It's just something that a person needs to see for themselves, as evidenced by other reviews, and that's just my experience. I voiced my concerns after Yoga Design Lab reached out to me to check on my purchase. They were kind and professional and worked with me to find a solution to the issue. I was refunded the mat at the end, but I left with a happy spirit and know that I will look through their other products. The yoga design lab cares about their customers. They are more than just another corp trying to make a buck.

👤What a beautiful mat! It's very soft and warm. I don't mind spending a little bit more on a nice quality. I love that it comes with a strap that I can use to roll it up and head out to the park for some fresh air and sun salutations. I can't express how much I love this mat. You can get a cheap spray bottle and spray a mist of water if you have slipping issues. I just use the condensation from my water bottle to wet my hands, then my natural sweat beats down like a disgusting salty waterfall and that is usually plenty to keep me from slipping. I will revise my post if it falls apart, because I haven't had time to wash it yet. I am very happy that I chose the lite, it is much easier to move around and the quality is top notch. I was very pleased with my purchase. Prime shipping took about 3 days. * I washed it after a muddy camping trip and it came out shiny and clean. There was no separation from the plush microfiber top and padding. It is the most sturdy mat I have ever owned. I have washed it twice since receiving it, and it is like I said before, on a cold/delicate cycle. I would be concerned if your washed is not capable and you use it for hot yoga. I wouldn't use this if I had to wash it every day because it's not a cheap mat. I think it's too nice. If you're into daily yoga and like to take your mat on every little adventure that only requires once a month washing and a light disinfectant spray in between, then this is the mat for you. I added two more pics that demonstrate during the muddy yoga adventure, and then washed them. It's still bright and beautiful. There is a method for this.

👤I have been using hybrid mats since 2015, this was my first yoga design lab mat and I loved using it for my hot yoga practice for the first few months. After five months of use, the mat started to show wear, which was surprising to me. I thought I could live with the top layer peeling away from the bottom. The mat became sticky when I pulled it from the wash. The mat was stuck to the floor as I picked it up from the studio floor. I threw it away this morning, it seems the yoga mat should last longer than five months.

Brand: Jade Yoga

👤I wanted something small that I could roll up tightly to take on a trip with me, and this fit the bill perfectly. This mat has a lot of grip. This is the stickiest mat I've used, compared to my Manduka mat and cork mat. It's a high maintenance mat. I got an email from Jade with more information about the mat after I read the label. Exposure to the sun will damage the natural rubber, which is why it is important to practice outside, leave it in the backseat of your car, or even near a window. Dirt, hair, lint, and your hands and feet stick to it, which is the downfall of the stickiness. It's super sticky because it's not a closed cell mat, and it's also very absorbent of sweat. There is a So. I have a mat that has a lot of dirt stuck to it, but I'll just wipe it down with my mat spray, and it will be fine. Wrong. Jade recommends "just using a damp cloth or for a deep clean use a 4:1 water/white vinegar mixture or some mild dishwashing soap" and then hanging it to dry out of the sun of course." They don't recommend using essential oils on the mat because it could cause it to degrade. I don't own high maintenance things because I'm not a high maintenance person. My Manduka mat is brand new and has survived over a year of hard work. The Jade mat is the stickiest mat I've ever used. I don't know about this mat. The Jade mat is described as sustainable, but I'm not sure I'm able to use it for extra grip. I think I'm not a Jade convert yet.

👤The Jade Harmony mat is heavy to cart around. I've purchased several other travel yoga mats, but they always suck after using my Jade Harmony. I try not to slip out of every dog. I bought the Jade Travel mat for my birthday, but I didn't get it until after I broke down. It's as nice as a mat. It's just as good as my mat, but lighter. No slipping, no matter how sweaty I get! This is worth the money.

👤I couldn't do a handstand until I bought this mat. I still can't.

👤I want a mat that is very grippy, and I will give it that. No sliding at all. The pros outweigh the cons. This thing is covered in a weird lubricant that doesn't come off. I have been using it on our wood floor and here is what I don't like about it. There are slippery patches on the floor. We have to be extra careful in the places where the yoga mat has been because we slip and almost fall there 2. It creates a lot of static electricity when I roll it back up. Crackling sounds and all! 3. It's hard to wash off the coating on my hands and feet, it doesn't come off even with soap. How much can you charge for it?

8. VViViD Foldable Padded Square Workout

VViViD Foldable Padded Square Workout

It's easy to keep your yoga mat in top shape by wiping it down after every practice. It is important to note that there may be a light odor after you receive your yoga mat, but it will quickly dissipated after proper ventilation. It is possible to fold a 12” x 12” square into an easily portable 12” x 12” square for high portability and ease of storage. During yoga, core workouts, stretching and other floor exercises, rubberized texture provides greater footing and stability. The thick, resilient foam pads are very easy to use. For many years, the hand was washed with mild soap.

Brand: Vvivid

👤It was very impressed by the low cost. It was very hard. I used it once for 30 minutes and it was very comfortable. When lying on the mat, there is a bit of off gassing happening. Overall very happy. The mat has worn a bit already. I use it for about five days a week. It has become a bit slippery with the wear. I have yet to be able to clean off the prints from my feet. It was kind of disappointing. I had to replace the mat. It wouldn't work without slipping in a 75 min class. I wanted to love this mat.

👤I love this mat. I use it in my hotel room. I travel every week as a consultant. If you have an Amazon Prime membership, you can get yoga videos on your phone or laptop for free and use them to relax or wake up.

👤The package was 12inX12in and had its own handle. I have not used it yet, so I can't rate it. It is thick enough to be comfortable over a hotel carpet or even a floor made of laminated wood. It is a bit narrow for yoga, but any wider would add to the bulk and defy the purpose. It's not as small as it is now, but I may have trouble fitting it into a carry-on bag, which is the only flaw I see in this item so far.

👤It's a lot thicker than I thought, but it's the cheapest travel yoga mat I've ever seen, and it's thick. I was going to take a cheap mat with me to Hawaii, but I wouldn't mind leaving it behind. I did yoga on the beach.

👤I can fold it in half because I'm short. I knew it was not thick. I like the fact that it could be folded very small, instead of having to roll it up. I can have it raised to do modifications if I fold in a couple flaps. It's good enough for me, but it might be a little thin and narrow for the more avid yoga goer.

👤I didn't think this product would last very long because of the price. I was disappointed that it fell apart so quickly. I didn't use it for intense workouts, just the basic pushups and sit ups, and the material began falling off. I have to clean the floor every time I use it. It is easy to store, but not very long.

👤Can't wait to use it! It is very useful.

👤I love this mat! I bought it to stay in my suitcase for yoga when I travel. It's surprisingly thick and portable. Highly recommended!

👤It was very squishy. I have not used it for yoga. My dog loves it. My toddler loves it too. It's held up well because of the torture that a toddler and dog put it through. It doesn't seem to pick up odors easily. I haven't washed it yet, but it does pick up dirt easily. We'll see how it holds up.

👤Yuliia wrote it. I used the mat a lot when I was in Europe. Not for yoga, but for the birth of a child. I was 5 months pregnant and wanted to stay active and active because I wanted to explore new places. The mat is very soft. I use two yoga mats at home, one on top of the other. The standard yoga mat is thicker than this one, but it is not as thick. It feels good. It is long. I don't mind the extra space. The way it folds is what I love about this mat. Simply fold it, I don't have to roll it. It took me a while to figure out how to fold it. I can fold this mat in a few seconds. Very easy. In half, one, two, three, done. The mat is pretty sanitary. I always put it on the "mountain" side, so I sit on a clean side whenever I use it. The grid on the mat is helpful. I can easily align myself. There is a It fits in a bag because it folds in a rectangular shape. It can be a backpack or yoga bag. It doesn't have to be something specifically designed for a rolled mat. I can use it as a cushion, which I did whenever I had to pack my bag or sit on the floor, because it folds in a rectangular shape. The yoga mat I bought is green and calm. I haven't used it yet, but it comes with a little bag. There is a I am happy with this mat. I use this one at home because it is so convenient and easy to fold. I like it.

👤I had a natural rubber latex allergy when I bought the Manduka EKO superlite travel mat. After using that mat, my palms and soles were blisters. I didn't know about my allergy. I went to an immunologist who told me that I have an allergy to latex and that I had been practicing yoga. I searched online for a travel mat made of non-latex material. I found this mat. I've taken this mat to the gym and yoga camps. It's convenient to carry around and it's good for keeping a suitcase. The material is not bounceable and I don't like it. When you kneel on the mat, it leaves an area on the surface that doesn't return to the normal shape after a few minutes. It is slippery. If you sweat a lot, this mat may not be your best choice, since most yoga mats which can satisfy your expectations of "durable", "non-slip", "light" and "foldable" are made with natural rubber latex. As a yoga instructor with a latex allergy, I wouldn't be picky about the slippery nature of the material. I would rather be safe and not have an allergy. Highly recommended for latex allergy individuals.

👤This mat was bought for travel. I love that it folds up nicely and the travel bag is great. Although not on traditional yoga mats, and not preferred by some, I really like the folding lines to help with alignment, as some other reviewers have said. I have yet to wash it. I imagine it will be enough and the bottom will be sufficient for carpet, which is what I used it on. The material is non-toxic and eco-friendly, and the mat does not have a weird smell. I don't know if hot yoga is good for sweating, but my intention is not to use it with hot yoga, because I do it daily. I'm not worried about that aspect. The mat is great for the reasons I need it. It is very functional and easy to use. The second time I closed the travel bag, it came off the tracks, so I contacted customer service at Khataland. They sent me a new bag free of charge after I got back to them. Customer service is very important to me and it made me feel good about my purchase from this company.

Brand: Balancefrom

👤I was misled into buying this mat by the many good reviews on it. It has a bad smell, a bad folding mark that won't fade off, and it doesn't stay in place, moving around on the carpet.

👤The mat is better than I thought it would be. You can't buy the perfect mat for $18. I found the mat very supportive. People use mats to protect their knees. It is more difficult to hold balance positions while standing with thick mats. I usually step off the mat for standing balance positions. The price is small to save my knees. It did not stretch, it had no offensive odor, and it did not leave indention's in the mat. When my palms were sweaty, my hands slipped on the mat when I was in down dog positions. The same thing happened to my old mat. I find that it makes me work harder to hold the position.

👤The knee pad and yoga mat are soft and thick. I bought the 1/2 inch mat and am happy I did. My grand daughter wants to use it when she sleeps. There is no smell. The purple is pretty. I am getting into my 50's and having the knee pad was a plus. I can kneel on the mat or knee pad. I haven't yet used them together. It will be comfortable. The pad is easy to travel on. I like to roll the mat edge for my hand placement/gripping, even though it is thick, and it helps with my gripping, because it is comfortable. This mat is comfortable for my hands because I have had surgeries on them. I don't slip on this mat.

👤I ordered this and I am very happy. The grip is soft. I might have to pick up a second mat, as it looks like this one is in high demand. No smell, soft feel. Love the carry strap and knee pads. Light weight.

👤I moved into a house with all hard floors. I am trying to come back from some back injuries that have caused me to be at almost a 45 degree angle, and I can only walk a few feet at a time. After many failed surgeries, a surgical pump implanted, and an ineffective bunch of medication, I decided that any improvement achieved is up to me. I used to work out before I was like this and have decided to go back to that beginning with some stretching, massage, and yoga. When I read that the company sent elastic bands for strength training, I was really interested. Something I had never worked on before. The fact that this company seems to care about you and your satisfaction with their products made me choose to buy this mat. The mat is very well made. If I look at the mat now, it looks like a lap pool in the middle of my living room floor, and it invites me to come on and start working my muscles. It's funny. I'm excited to get the stretch bands. The purchase of this mat sparks my energy and I am very pleased with it. It is thick and stays in place when I move around on it, which was a big concern for me. I'm looking forward to starting my routine.

Brand: Gaiam

👤I bought a mat. For travel. The travel mat is 2mm thick, while some mats are up to 4mm thick. I don't think that's the purpose. The mats are thicker than it is and will take a lot of room in your suitcase. The thicker cushion would be nice, but it's too large for me. I'll use it over carpet, an area rug, or with a towel in order to conserve space, while still providing a nice clean exercise surface. So... There is something to think about. The mat I received was covered in an oily film that made it hard to use for yoga. I contacted Gaiam and asked if I could use dawn dishwash soap to clean. Thanks for reaching out! Sometimes the manufacturing process can leave behind some remnants. It's easy to over-do dish detergent. The mat can become sticky if you use too much. Please use a mixture of water and witch-hazel. Both witch-hazel and vinegar are natural steriors, so they'll clean the mat and kill anybacteria on it. I've scrubbed it once and it's working again. I think it will be fine after it breaks in.

👤This mat is exactly what I was looking for. It's thin, making it perfect for traveling. It's nice for balance poses and use on carpet. I still slip some, but it has some grip. It had more grip after I wiped itTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkiaTrademarkia It will get better with use. The bottom and top can't be touched. The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because the paint was rubbing off. You can see the wear in the picture, because I've used it for my daily 20 min practice for about 2 weeks. The mat got worse when I wiped it down. I thought about sending it back, but I like everything else about it. I didn't find many with all the qualities I was looking for. I thought it would have a built in carry strap, but it didn't have anything. I've been thinking about what to put it in. * This isn't a mat for people who are sensitive to smells. I can still smell it after several weeks, even though the smell gets better with time.

👤You should get one of these. Since I bought this mat, I've never gone without it. It is convenient to be able to pull out my own mat when I'm on the road and to be able to practice at friends' homes on overnight stays. The mat isn't sticky to the level of some of the specialty mats you'll see, but it is a good grip. I've used it on the floor of my house and on the deck of a ship. The mat is light and easy to lift up, making it great for travel. The folds are imprinted on the lines. It's not just a mat that's easy to crease, the crease is pressed in so it sits flat and can't "pop up" out of its fold. The buy was amazing. My sister got one of mine.
